WELCOME TO SAINT JOHN'S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BANGKOK

Thank you for visiting the St. John’s International School’s website. It is important to us that you will become better acquainted with what the school can offer you and your children.

As you navigate the website, you will become aware of the range of our curriculum programme from Early Years to Year 13. As you will see, we follow the EYFS (Early years Foundation Stage) and English National Curriculum combined with the very best of UK independent and international curricula. A further dimension is explored through reference to a wide range of international festivals with a particular focus on Thailand’s rich cultural heritage when we celebrate Wai Kru, Loy Kratong and Songkran.

The teaching and support staff at St. John’s International School are a strong, dedicated team who work closely together within their departments and across age phases to ensure learning is the focus of our school. St. John’s International School is staffed with experienced and appropriately qualified British teachers, with a range of impressive educational certificates, diplomas and degrees.

We also pride ourselves on the quality of our support teaching staff who ensure that we at St. John’s cater for the mixed ability intake of pupils, which is an expectation of good international schools. For pupils with second language needs or those who need support and a boost in other areas of the curriculum, we have SEN (Special Educational Needs) teaching staff and Learning Assistants who work in both the primary and secondary departments.

St. John’s International School boasts a large campus with some excellent facilities especially for a ‘city school’ with a superb 25m outdoor swimming pool with spectator bleacher stands, a spacious sports hall, all weather purpose running track and well groomed grass playing field.

Finally, a major factor that makes St. Johns’ International School an attractive option for many parents is the strong emphasis we place on the school-home relationship which greatly contributes to the strong community feel of the school. We have an active, loyal and extremely supportive PTA working in close harmony with the teaching and administrative staff with the common goal of making St. John’s a warm, safe environment that puts the development of the whole child at the heart of its ethos.
