Our first singing rehearsal was a great success. This is the first time that the actors and the chorus got to sing with the real band, and I must say, boy, the band rocks! They played with each other very well. At first, not many people knew the song (okay, only one person knew the song, Amy) so we had a powerful demonstration from Mr. Bennett who set up the right mood for everyone to join in. After getting a bit more familiar with the song, Dao and Ms. Fretche lead the actors into a dance routine, splitting the Ca-poles and the Montags, fighting back and forth.

Because of the uneven number between the 2 families, I could see Sukrit being attacked by three girls! Now that’s something he’s not familiar with :P. Everyone seemed to enjoy it very much, judging by their smiles during the dance. But that’s not how it goes! We’re fighting! Ah well, all they need now is just a bit of time to get used to everything and I’m sure those facial expressions will come.

The only thing I am sure of is that this scene is a scene to watch out for! Great band, great choreography, great singing, great acting! “Helter Skelter YEAHHHHH!!!!!”
